Many are not aware that the author of
the immortal zarzuela "Walang Sugat" and "Ang mga Kwento ni Lola
Basyang" is a Letranite -Severino Reyes.

LETRANITES PASS CPA The Colegio has produced
five (5) new Certified Public Accountants (CPA)
as the result
of the CPA Licensure Examinations was released recently by the Professional Regulation
Commission (PRC). The examinations were given May 2003.
The successful Letranites
are Donna May L. Bayona, Alden Rian V. Ferreras, Janice C. Lingad, Janice F. Manuel and
Enrico Manuel D. Peñas. The Colegio’s passing percentage is 19.23 - just almost
at par with the national passing percentage of 19.34.
The new Letran CPAs will
take their oath as professionals on June 23, 2003 at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC).
